global results on some nonlinear partial differential equations for direct and inverse problems
A Priori Estimates for Elliptic Equations in Weighted Sobolev Spaces
In this paper we prove some a priori bounds for the solutions of the Dirichlet problem for elliptic equations with singular coefficients in weighted Sobolev spaces. Mathematics subject classification (2010): 35J25, 35B45, 35R05.
متن کاملA Priori Estimates of Positive Solutions for Sublinear Elliptic Equations
In this paper, a priori estimates of positive solutions for sublinear elliptic equations are given in terms of thicknesses of domains. To this end, a supersolution is constructed by a composite function of a solution to an ordinary differential equation and a distance function. The results work efficiently in the case where the domain is an exterior or an interior of a convex set.
متن کاملDispersive Estimates for Principally Normal Pseudodifferential Operators
The aim of these notes is to describe some recent results concerning dispersive estimates for principally normal pseudodifferential operators. The main motivation for this comes from unique continuation problems. Such estimates can be used to prove L Carleman inequalities, which in turn yield unique continuation results for various partial differential operators with rough potentials.
متن کاملA Priori Estimates for Fluid Interface Problems
We consider the regularity of an interface between two incompressible and inviscid fluids flows in the presence of surface tension. We obtain local in time estimates on the interface in H 3 2 k+1 and the velocity fields in H 3 2 . These estimates are obtained using geometric considerations which show that the Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities are a consequence of a curvature calculation.
